Auto Gallery | SEAT Bocanegra set for Production

The SEAT Bocanegra Concept was uncovered at this years Geneva Motor Show and now the Spanish manufacturer has finally confirmed this 3-door mini for production. Talented Luc Donckerwolke (SEAT design director) has stated; “When we showed the finished concept to our president Eric Schmitt, he said ‘I want one!’. And after the positive Geneva reception, there was no way we couldn’t put the Bocanegra into production”.

Auto Gallery | Spada Codatronca set for production

No this is not a bad episode of Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!, the SpadaConcept Codatronca is actually set for production. Spada will together with coachbuilder Castagna build 20 copies of the Codatronca which will be powered by a 7-liter V8 engine maxed to over 600Hp. We couldn’t resist using Babel Fish to check the meaning of “coda tronca” which was roughly translated to “tail cuts”, it sure makes sense judging by the pictures released.
SpadaConcept is a new Italian design house aimed at automotive and industrial design founded by veteran automobile designer Ercole Spada together with his son Paulo Spada.

Auto Gallery | Opel Corsa OPC 202Hp by Steinmetz

The Opel Corsa OPC has been significantly enhanced by German tuning-company Steinmetz, gaining an extra 10 Hp through the new left/right silencer system raising the 1.6-liter turbo engine’s output to 202 Hp. The Corsa OPC was also fitted with a lowering kit that brings it closer to the tarmac. Looks were improved with a honeycomb grille, a 2-piece front spoiler, side strips in silver or anthracite, aluminum filler cap and a brand new set of 16-19″ alloy wheels.

This weekend BMW honored the 30th anniversary of its legendary super car M1 by uncovering the new BMW M1 Homage. The event took place at a private party in Villa d’Este Concours. What you may not know is that the original M1-model was built by Lamborghini and designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro in the late 1970’s after having entered into an agreement with BMW to build the first and only mid-engined BMW. The BMW M1 was sold to the public from 1978 to 1981.
